Also known as refinishing or resurfacing, reglazing is the process of replacing the old glaze on your fixtures, vanities and tiles with a new one. It’s not an overly complex procedure, but it needs to be done by an experienced professional because some of the products and materials are hazardous if not handled properly. We can refinish tiles, vanities, sinks, Jacuzzis, shower stalls, and bathtubs of any kind.
After you contractors arrive at your location, they will cover the area around the fixture, vanity or tiles that need to be reglazed. We don’t want to accidentally stain anything else.
The surface of the fixture is then sanded down until the original glaze is removed. The cracks and other imperfections are repaired.
A primer is applied to the entire surface of the fixture to ensure a strong bond with the coating. We use top quality primers for exceptional results.
One or two layers of coating are applied to the surface of the fixture. The experience of our contractor ensures an even application of the coating. The coating is left to cure for 48 hours & you can then use the fixture once again.
